The Central Wave is a family friendly sports bar with local bands or DJ's performing most nights. It offers a fun & friendly atmosphere and brings exceptional foods, beverages, and entertainment to downtown Dover. Monday Nights are Rockband Nights. Every Tuesday is a fun night of brain teasing Trivia hosted by Ryan. Every Wednesday is a Night for the Ladies with karaoke and dancing provided by DJ Coach. Thursdays are College Night with a DJ and a Beirut tournament. Join us every Friday & Saturday for all request dancing courtesy of our House DJ's DJ Coach & DJ Brandon Brown.

         The Central Wave is a Community Oriented Business, family owned and operated. The owner is Miryana T. Celikkol, however when you find her there she goes by the name Mira. The General Manager of the Central Wave is Erin Celikkol.

         The Central Wave was set to open August 17th 2007. Unfortunately, the day prior when the staff came in to "touch up" and finish setting up the grand opening, they found that the carpeting that had been laid the day before had been saturated by our first flood. Of course that is completely co-incidental as the name of the restaurant is the Central Wave! Wow! What next you might ask? September 15th a second flood plagued the location. We had our second Grand Opening with the Shark Radio (appropriate name) and Coors Light. We're not done yet! November 15th our third flood struck! It can't be happening again!! So, we had a third and final Grand opening on November 21st. We have had smaller floods since then, but I'm praying we're done or the Central Wave will become the name of an arc!
